Track Name: Wasted Sons
Days get longer, nights get shorter,
nothing has meaning and nobody cares.
We all just forget about the time we spent,
wishing we were something more.

I've lived my life knowing I may not be someone great,
it eats away at us all.
I pass by every day, and things are all the same,
plagued by crippling fear of change.

Its a step we take away from each other,
and I realize it means nothing to me now.
We're wasted sons turning to our fathers.
One day we'll scream these words aloud.

Tired always tired, angry at it all.
With no audience I sing, I weep, I scream,
in mourning of a life never lived.
Track Name: Small Soldiers
They stand like small soldiers carved out of wood.
Living life with no purpose;
breathe like a good machine should.
Manufactured and tailored, they're readily sold.
Their eyes won't shine they're hollow,
all carved from the same mold.
But I can see right through you, and I know who you are.
Just one more small soldier trapped in the jar.

I've tried to speak out time after time.
I though that I could make you see that,
you are carved out of what I once thought was gold.
I thought that I could make you listen.
And I know its not fair,
so I'll ask you, do you feel proud?

Where do you stand?
Is your hope, your credence alive?
Are you so weak?
Give up resolve, stand in line.

Carved out of wood for us to use,
feed me every lie, tell me every line you've rehearsed.
They've seen it all before, we've seen it all before.
Is ignorance your best excuse?
You took this all for granted, you couldn't find your way out.

You are not the same as you were before.
We are all meant for something more.
I was not born to fall in line,
this is something I can't stand behind.
They will pull you down, and watch as you drown,
in your own guilt, in the hole you built.
Can't trust anyone after what they've done,
I won't just sit by as you slowly die.
I won't watch you die.

(If I can't make you see, what this really means,
I've lost all hope for you. Maybe you've all lost hope too.
Do you see what you are? Do you see what you have become?)

This gift I have for you, will let us start anew,
but you will need to let the winds subside.
This can't be happening, you've never lived so strict before.
Is it the unwanted distance or a lie without allure?
Who's to blame when people give in to each other,
and we take away their names?

Clones of clones, mindless drones,
never meant to stand on your own.
Weak men who latch onto the strong,
trying to tell me what's right and what's wrong.
